As a lifelong nail-biter at the time, professional treatments were the only thing that helped me break the habit. I quickly realised it wasn't just about the treatment, it was about how it made me feel.

Entering early menopause, my confidence began to fade. I struggled with rising anxiety even a simple nail appointment started to feel overwhelming. I felt self-conscious, out of place, as though I were being judged.

That experience changed everything. It sparked a mission to create a space where no one would ever have to feel that way again.

Driven by a love for "all things sparkly," I qualified as a nail technician and launched my first business in 2006. After years of honing my craft across three different salons, I combined my technical expertise with my deep understanding of client care to found Prime & Proper Nails in 2018 after studying a level 3 diploma.
