Prime & Proper Nails – Terms & Conditions
By booking an appointment with Prime & Proper Nails, you agree to the following terms and
conditions. These policies are designed to ensure a smooth, respectful, and professional
experience for every client.
1. Deposits & Booking Policy
• All bookings require a £20 non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment.
• Once your booking is accepted, you will have 24 hours to pay the deposit by bank transfer,
unless otherwise agreed.
• If the deposit is not received within this timeframe, the appointment will be released without
further notice.
• Once the deposit is received, your appointment is fully secured, and time is allocated to
prepare your tailored treatment in advance.
2. Future Appointments
• All future bookings will be confirmed via email, text message, or WhatsApp.
• A gentle confirmation message will be sent 24 hours before your appointment.
3. Appointments
• Same-day appointments are not available.
• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to allow efficient planning of my mobile schedule.
• This ensures each appointment remains calm, personalised, and unhurried.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Changes
• A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
• Changes to your treatment or service length require at least 48 hours’ notice. Requests
made with less notice may not be accommodated and could result in a reduced service or
additional charges, depending on availability.
• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in loss of the deposit.
• In the unlikely event that I need to cancel your appointment due to illness or an emergency,
as much notice as possible will be given.
• Your deposit will be carried over to your rescheduled appointment or refunded in full,
whichever you prefer.
5. Missed Appointments (No-Shows)
• If I arrive at your home and you are unavailable or do not respond, this will be treated as a
missed appointment.
• Full payment will be required before any future bookings are accepted.
6. Payment
• The remaining balance is due at the end of your appointment.
• Payments are accepted via bank transfer or cash only.
• Cheques are not accepted unless agreed in advance.
7. Late Arrival
• Please be ready at your scheduled appointment time.
• Delays of more than 20 minutes may result in a shortened service or cancellation, with the
deposit forfeited.
8. Service Guarantee & Aftercare
• Nail services are guaranteed for 5 days following your appointment.
• Aftercare advice will be provided during your appointment.
• A follow-up message or call will be made 4 days after your appointment.
9. Repairs, Call-Outs & Existing Work
• Prime & Proper Nails no longer offers a repair-only service.
• Any mobile attendance outside of a booked treatment is subject to a minimum call-out
charge of £40.
• Removal of work carried out by another technician may require additional time and will be
assessed at the start of the appointment.
• Additional charges may apply depending on product type and nail condition.
10. Product Sensitivity & Allergic Reactions
• Every care is taken to use professional products safely.
• Prime & Proper Nails cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions where sensitivities or
allergies have not been disclosed prior to treatment.11. Home Environment, Smoking & Guests
• For health and safety reasons, smoking or vaping is not permitted in the treatment area
during your appointment.
• Prime & Proper Nails is a pet-friendly service; however, pets should be settled safely so they
do not interfere with equipment or treatment.
• Family members or carers are welcome during appointments unless otherwise agreed in
advance.
12. Client Suitability & Accessibility
• Services are provided in private homes only.
• A clean, well-lit space with access to a plug socket is required.
• Appointments are not available in hospitals, care homes, or commercial settings.
13. Environmental Conditions & Access
• During colder months, room temperature must be a minimum of 18°C.
• During warmer months, adequate ventilation must be available.
• Appointments may need to be rescheduled due to severe weather, unsafe access, or loss of
power. Deposits will be transferred.
14. Photography & Social Media
• Photographs may be taken for portfolio or social media use.
• If you prefer not to be featured, please advise at the time of your appointment.
15. Client Conduct
• Prime & Proper Nails operates a respectful, professional service.
• Abusive, threatening, or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
• Such behaviour will result in immediate cancellation and permanent refusal of future
bookings.
16. Feedback, Resolution & Pricing
• If you are dissatisfied with your service, please make contact within 48 hours.
• Prices are reviewed periodically and may be adjusted in line with supplier and product cost
increases.
• Advance notice will always be given before your appointment should any price changes
apply.
• Offers and promotions must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added
retrospectively.

I work thoughtfully with clients experiencing menopause-related changes, reduced
mobility, anxiety, or stroke recovery. Breaks are always welcomed, positioning is
adjusted for comfort, and your wellbeing is prioritised throughout.
Professional Standards
Only professional-grade products are used, with careful preparation and hygiene
standards maintained at all times. If a service is not suitable on the day, this will always
be discussed openly and respectfully.
Comfortable Home Environment
Appointments are carried out in your home so you can relax in familiar surroundings. I
will always guide you on set-up to ensure comfort, safety, and the best possible results.
Ongoing Care
Aftercare guidance is provided at every appointment, and a follow-up check-in is made
after your service to ensure everything is progressing well.
