Allow me to introduce myself — I’m Lisa, the owner and founder of Prime & Proper Nails, a multi award-winning nail technician specialising in calm, one-to-one nail care delivered in the comfort of your own home.

I understand how losing confidence in your hands, or in yourself can quietly affect how you feel day to day. It’s something I’ve experienced personally, and one of the reasons I believe nail care should never feel rushed, uncomfortable, or impersonal.

As someone who struggled with nail biting throughout my childhood, I understand just how personal your hands can feel. Acrylic nails helped me stop biting, but I still experienced moments of feeling self-conscious about the condition of my skin.

Salon environments often felt uncomfortable — I felt judged rather than supported.

That experience became a defining reason for the way I work today: creating a service where every woman feels at ease, respected, and completely free from judgement.

After training professionally in 2005, I built my career around a simple belief — that time, care, and attention truly matter. My background working closely with people has shaped a thoughtful approach, with a deep understanding of patience, trust, and how personal care can support confidence.

As my career developed, I saw more and more women seeking something different from their nail appointments, a quieter, more considered experience. 

In February 2025, I introduced The Prime Touch — my refined, signature approach designed to elevate the experience further, offering more personal, tailored treatments.

Today, with nearly 20 years in the industry, I work with women who value quality, discretion, and thoughtful care in the comfort of their own homes.
