These terms are in place to ensure every appointment runs smoothly, respectfully, and with the calm, unhurried experience Prime & Proper Nails is known for.
By booking an appointment, you agree to the following:


Booking, Deposit and Payments

A £20 booking deposit is required to secure each appointment.

Once your deposit is received, your appointment is fully secured and time is reserved to prepare your tailored treatment in advance.

The remaining balance is due at the end of your appointment.

Payments are accepted via bank transfer or cash. Cheques are not accepted unless agreed in advance.


Future Appointments

Future bookings can be made online for your convenience, or arranged directly with me if you prefer.

Appointments will be confirmed via text message, email, or WhatsApp, with a gentle reminder sent  24 hours prior.


Appointment Notice

Appointments are arranged in advance to allow for careful planning of my mobile schedule, ensuring each visit remains personal, personalised, and unhurried.

Bookings are typically made with at least 24 hours notice.


Access Parking and Location

To ensure a personal, unhurried and fully equipped service, suitable parking close to the property is required (this can include on-road parking, provided it is nearby, available, and practical for unloading), along with safe, practical access.

Central locations and certain apartment buildings can sometimes present access or parking limitations. Where this may impact the quality and flow of your appointment, I may not be able to accommodate the booking.

If you’re unsure, please feel free to check with me after booking — I’m always happy to advise and help.


Cancellations, Rescheduling and Changes

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, 72 hours notice is kindly requested.

Changes to your treatment or service length are best made with at least 48 hours’ notice. Requests made with less notice may not always be possible and, where adjustments are required, this may result in a shorter service, depending on availability.

For appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, the booking deposit will be retained to cover the reserved appointment time.

In the unlikely event that I need to cancel due to illness or an emergency, as much notice as possible will be given. Your deposit will be transferred to a new appointment or refunded in full—whichever you prefer.


Service Guarantee, Aftercare and Repairs

All services are carried out with care, precision, and attention to detail.

Nail services are guaranteed for 5 days following your appointment. Aftercare advice will be provided during your visit to help maintain the quality and longevity of your nails.

Repair-only appointments are not currently offered. However, if I am already in your area, I’m always happy to arrange a repair where possible. A charge of £8 per nail will apply.

As a mobile service, a minimum appointment charge of £45 applies.

If you have existing work from another technician, this may require additional time and will be assessed at the start of your appointment. Additional charges may apply depending on the product used and the condition of the nails.


Product Sensitivity

Professional products are used with care and attention at all times.

If you have any known allergies or sensitivities, please advise prior to your appointment so this can be taken into account.


Your Home Environment

Appointments are carried out in your home in a calm and respectful setting.

For health and safety:

  • Smoking  is not permitted in the treatment area during your appointment
  • Pets are very welcome, but should be settled comfortably so they do not interfere with equipment or treatment
  • Family members or carers are welcome unless otherwise agreed

Your Home Setup

I bring a full professional setup with me, so everything is taken care of for your appointment.

All that’s needed is a clean, well-lit space with access to a plug socket.

Appointments are provided in private homes only and are not available in hospitals, care homes, or commercial settings.


Respect & Conduct

Prime & Proper Nails is built on mutual respect, kindness, and professionalism.

A calm and respectful environment is important for every appointment. In the rare event that behaviour is considered inappropriate, aggressive, or disrespectful, the appointment may need to be ended and future bookings declined.

Your experience is very important to me. If you have any questions or concerns following your appointment, please feel free to get in touch within 48 hours so I can look into this for you.

Prices are reviewed periodically in line with product and supplier costs. Any changes will always be communicated in advance of your appointment.
